Opera House

Originally used in San Francisco’s War Memorial Opera House, (the first municipally owned opera house in the country), the Opera House ceiling fixture is a deceptively simple flush mount with an elaborately faceted glass shade that creates a charming effect on the surrounding ceiling. While the concept for the Opera House light might seem familiar, both the glass and the ceiling plate on this fixture are proprietary pieces from the Boyd archives, which means they are not available anywhere else. The fixture is available in two sizes; the larger size is perfect over doorways or in foyers the smaller size is perfect for corridors or used as a sconce on a wall. Available in 4 finishes on the star-like mounting bracket and clear or window pane etched glass.
